Writing
My writing explores many of the themes and obsessions I engage with in coaching, often from a deeply personal lens:
Life, sex, intimacies, relationships; the ways our bodies both exalt and shame us; the tricky nature of knowing and naming our genuine wants; the beautiful eccentricities of desire; how we can be fierce and brittle at once; tender and savage; yearning for home and longing for release. The secret languages of our bonds with one another...
My essays, stories, and poetry have appeared in Cimarron Review, Witness, The Los Angeles Review, CRAFT, West Trade Review, and numerous other journals. My work has been anthologized in the Seattle Erotic Art Festival Literary Anthology and I was the recipient of the SEAF Literary Foundation Award in Short Works.
